The Fury is a masterfully paced thriller about a reclusive ex-movie star and her famous friends, whose spontaneous trip to a private Greek island is upended when one of the is murdered. But it’s also a sort of twisted love story. And it’s also SO GOOD. It’s full of unexpected surprises and will have you guessing right up until the very end!
The narrator is so snarky and fun - and was the epitome of a character you love to hate - while also being a very unreliable narrator. There are so many god fun twist - like who done it? And also - who dies? I'm always a big fan of unexpected turns of events and this book was chock full of them. I did get a little confused during the second half - and things got pretty wild - but I appreciate where it ended up.
Another clever and well thought out story by Alex Michaelides - the Silent Patient will forever be my favorite of his but this was pretty unique - and I'm really looking forward to whatever he writes next!
