I received this directly from the publisher review. It’s always fun to receive a new book as a surprise, but I wish this one had been better.

Hath no fury, like a women scorned is his the saying goes.
Famous actress, odd friends, a cheating husband, and a beautiful island getaway.
Mix them all together and you get the perfect dramatic combination.

But…I felt like this was a bit of a let down, after following The Silent Patient.
Lots of rambling and slightly hard to follow at times; just lots of fluff. I know I’m in the minority on this and most loved this book, but It just didn’t hit home for me.
The characters are well developed, and I did enjoy getting to know each one individually but all together I figured out the entire plot and twists about mid-way through the book.
The Silent Patient had much more of a twisted/surpising ending than this one.
