4.5 stars. I read this first just to see what else Alex Michaelides wrote, before reading “The Silent Patient.” I love the Greek setting since I’m a sucker for anything taking place in Greece or any mentions of Greece. I also love how it was a thriller so it was face paced and I got it done pretty quick, along with a few other books. Lana was very interesting and captivating character, same with Elliot Chase. I liked the ex-movie star aspect of her. It was definitely a unique novel in my opinion. At times (even though I felt it went quick) there were slow points but it almost always never failed to pick back up and have me at the edge of my seat. Though it was relaxing for a thriller (it takes a lot for a thriller to get me all palm sweating and anxious) but I will say it was smooth and a great prose. I borrowed my friends copy of this book and due to liking it so much, I will be purchasing my own soon!
