I absolutely loved this book! First, it has some fun nods to the Silent Patient and The Maidens. I love it when authors have their own universe for books.
This book was full of turns and twists and I did not see any of them coming, but when I was done I realized it was there all along! These are my favorite stories. This is one of those books where you think we got to the secret twist, but no that was not it, more twists are coming.
I loved the Greek descriptions and all the food. The characters were all fun, difficult, and slightly unreliable. The ending had me laugh and say "of course" but also acknowledge the brilliance. The book is shaped as 5 theater acts that made sense and provided a unique structure to it.
I highly recommend it for those who love unique mysteries and the guesswork of who and why they did it. I will also add that I've listened to a small excerpt of the audio, and the production is also phenomenal.
