The Fury brings readers to the Greek Isles in springtime, to a private island owned by a famous actress who is entertaining her family and close friends to escape the dreary English weather...or so we think. Everything you think you know as you read about each character will be turned on its head as the book progresses, with some chapters being a red herring and then the next might set it straight, or might not. The narrator is VERY unreliable, despite his protests to the contrary. That is what makes this such a fun read! Just when you think you have it all figured out--BAM! you really don't. I do wish there had been a bit more back story with the main character Lana's and Elliot's pasts when they were young. It is mentioned in general terms, but I didn't feel like I really got to know either character that well. Same with the ties between Kate and Jason--what was it like when they first knew each other and who were they? The tragic ending wrapped up most of the questions, resulting in the book we just read.
