Alex Michaelides is one of my favorite writers. I’ve really enjoyed his previous books and was highly anticipating getting my hands on The Fury. This book captivated my mind and kept me turning pages to see what would happen next/where the plot would take me. I enjoyed all the characters. It has a great story line when it came to the characters lives and how they all interacted. The end was shocking and mostly unexpected. For me there were very few slow points and I was able to read the entire book in one rainy day.
The book reads like a great movie with an amazing cast. I could visualize everything in my head as i was reading due to the excellent but not overwhelming descriptions. The main character (Lana Farrar) is a captivating movie star whose beauty and kindness is unsurpassed. In her early years of acting, she meets a man (Elliot Chase) who wants nothing more than to be In a relationship with her but he is put in the friend zone for many years. Lana invited her closest friends on a getaway and that is where the thrilling chaos ensues!
