I really enjoyed the narration and writing style of this one, and once I got into it I really could not put it down. Our protagonist being a playwright was interesting as well. The fact that the book was set up the way it was made it really bingeable and interesting, too.
If you enjoyed the narration style of Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone I think this one will also be right up your alley. Our narrator has a pretty witty sense of humor and yet there's just something about him you can't really put your finger on... until you do.
The ending totally threw me for a loop and I can confidently say I did not see it coming. Although I do feel it's unfair to compare author's previous works against each other, I would say to not go into this book expecting the same caliber twist of The Silent Patient. (I think many of us will be searching for a similar twist for years to come).
