I really don't know how to review this book. My feelings and thoughts are all over the place. I didn't hate it, but I also didn't like it. I couldn't connect with the characters at all. None of them were likeable. They all were rather horrible and unrelatable. I didn't really want to read anything about them.

The story wasn't particularly interesting, probably because I didn't care for any of the characters. I also felt like they didn't have much development to some of them. However, that makes sense given the nature of the story. It was a little all over the place. The timeline had a ton of jumps. It was done in a unique way, that I didn't necessarily dislike. I think it shows us a bit more about the narrator with it written this way. But, I didn't feel that way until after I finished the book. During the story, it made it a little hard to follow what was going on. It was used to give some twists and surprises to the story. The result was that I found it hard to leave the story. I was stuck to it like it was a bad car crash. I couldn't look away. I had to know all the details even though I knew it wouldn't make me feel better about what happened.

Now, I am stuck here thinking about the story. Nothing about it was particularly bad. I actually like the unique way it was written. I'm left thinking about the story, which is arguably a good thing. Yet, even with all that, I didn't care for the story. I didn't get much enjoyment while reading it. It is only now in the aftermath while I think about the book that I start to see its interesting points.
