📚 My Thoughts:
I picked this one up after seeing a ton of positive reviews. I did love The Silent Patient, so I was definitely intrigued. I will say that this was a fun and fast read. My thoughts on it are frankly quite simple. The writing was a 5, the characters were a 4, and the story felt like a 3. I'd still recommend people picking it up if it intrigues them! The way the story was told and the twists were unfolded was very reminiscent of Agatha Christie's writing. It was definitely my favorite part of the book. I would for sure continue to read from this author and plan to pick up his sophomore book he published. I did enjoy that this one had friendship as one of the themes of the story. Also the setting of being on a Greek Island is one that I am always a sucker for. I'm definitely excited for his next one!
