I really enjoy this author. He has such a way with words and is such a great storyteller. Which is kind of funny since this book is about play writes and actors. We are a family who enjoys theatre, we go 1-2 times a month, so this book was extremely interesting to me.
I enjoyed this book for many reasons. It was split into acts, like as in a play. It was told by a quirky narrator who played a big part in this entire script. There were plenty of twists and turns, some that you could see coming, some you could not. But most of all, it was a book that I kept thinking about when I wasn’t reading it and couldn’t wait to get back to. The characters were easy to follow and you either loved them or hated them.
I only gave it a 4 star because I am comparing to Silent Patient, which blew my mind! I really did enjoy this book and look forward to hearing your thoughts as well.
