I absolutely loved the Silent Patient, yet didn't care for The Maidens. I hoped The Fury would be in the Silent Patient category and while it didn't rise quite that high, I really enjoyed it.
We don't know who the narrator is for a bit, but the tidbits dropped meant it was hard to put it down waiting to see how it played out.
The main character, Lana, is a famous actress and her friend Kate is still acting. Lana invites her friend Elliott and Kate to join her, her hubby and her son on the private island they own next to Mykonos. No one appears to like her hubby except Lana.
We learn in the first few pages that there is a murder on the island and only the 5 of them and the caretaker are on the island so the murderer is someone they know and trust. Who is murdered and who did it?
