Wow, what a book! I was hooked from start to finish. Alex Michaelides is one of my favorite authors, and “The Fury” did not disappoint. I love a good "Easter Egg," so the one that he left within the story was appreciated.
Michaelides knows how to write a twist that you do not see coming. He also writes multi faceted characters to boot. A bit different than the traditional locked room mystery, "The Fury" encompasses a whole island, with only a handful of suspects. "The Fury" was character driven, with these characters being well developed by the author. With a strong sense of place, Michaelides develops the complex story, pulling back the pages one by one.
If you live for a twisty murder mystery, definitely put “The Fury” on your to be read list for 2024!
