I have read other books by this author and enjoyed them. The blurb for this one is intriguing and the narrator was cheeky in that little bit however once I started reading the First Look I found the writing style to be annoying. I would still be interested in seeing where the story goes but I am not sure how I would enjoy the whole book written this way. I also really don't like the cover. The art doesn't invoke the story to me.
