I've heard of this author but have not read any of their work before. The cover art for this does not captivate me at all, but the blurb sounds amazing! I love the playfulness voice of the narrator with both the prologue and opening chapter. It adds a lightness to what I know will be a very tense story of murder. This is super easy to read and get immersed in already.
