Wow! That's how you start a book. I am immediately hit with doubt as to the reliability of the narrator for a couple of reasons. First, they are far too insistent of their sincerity, and second, the use of wind and its ominous nature. Wind is notoriously chaotic and potentially destructive, and this gives me all the encouragement I need to dig in to this novel. Strong Agatha Christie vibes with this one!
