I've seen this book pop up quite a few times in my social media feeds, so when I saw it available here for a first look, I decided to see what it is all about. Sadly, I do not like the cover at all and I don't know that this book is for me. I enjoyed the narrator breaking the fourth wall but I don't like the tone the author took with this character. I suspect that people who seek out mysteries and thrillers will enjoy this one, but as a primarily fantasy reader, I will pass.
