My co-blogger read Alex Michaelides’ first novel, which has put his books on my radar. The excerpt of The Fury really isn’t enough to judge (or even guess) how the story will go, but I was intrigued by it nonetheless. It feels purely like an introduction, but it also sets up an interesting mystery and introduces the narrator who is telling the story to the reader.
