The story starts off with a literal and figurative bang. You are drawn into both the action and the atmosphere of the story from the beginning. While we really don't know much of or about the characters yet, we're aware some of them are going to have inaccurate or skewed interpretations. We have learned the narrator is a writer by trade, which can be good and bad. They have a habit of recording things, but do we trust that that their recollections are accurate? So intriguing and it makes me want to get this book as soon as possible! The cover art is interesting, it looks a bit like a target, which someone obviously was. Interesting!
