The cover of this book is not particularly appealing to me. To be honest, I'm not sure what I'm looking at. I really liked one of Alex Michaelides's previous books, though, so the truth is that the part of this cover that would make me most likely to pick up this book is seeing the author's name. The First Look pages are intriguing, though. I feel like I've seen this plot before, but the narrator acknowledges that, and I do like the writing style. I would give this book a chance for sure!
