I devoured “The Silent Patient” and super excited for Alex’s new book. The first read does not disappoint. I mean the opening line “don’t open a book with the weather.” I mean how great is this first line. With a feeling of “Knives Out” meets “Lord of the Flies” feeling this book has everything going for it to be one for the ages.
