The Prologue of The Fury drew me in immediately, especially when the narrator states, "People want to read about people—and they generally skip descriptive paragraphs, in my experience." This one sentence pretty much sums up my reading style. The narrator is comically conversational and moves the plot forward at lightning speed. I am a big fan of Alex Michaelides's previous titles, and I can't wait to read this one.
