I have eagerly waited for a glimpse of Alex Michaelides' 'The Fury' and the First Look fueled my curiosity. I am disappointed that I didn't get a better look at the seven players in this story or even an idea of who they are other than names Leo, Lana and Elliot that really have no substance fleshed out yet. Having read 'The Silent Patient' I know Alex Michaelides writes a good thriller. The cover of the book draws me in and makes me want to see what I can learn about this undoubtedly scandalous event. My first impression is that 'The Fury' would be a five-star read.
