In true Alex Michaelides fashion, this begins with all the suspense mapped out: a murder happens, there’s a group of friends, we’re headed to a secluded place- the tone and writing is set and ready. I love how we get a snippet in the prologue that sets everything up and then the story begins - told in “Acts.”
