Alex Michaelides is already my favorite author but something about how this story begins really has me wanting more. The prologue was interesting but the first two lines of the first chapter has me hooked. I think the premise of the narrator giving us a first hand account of the murder is going to be unique. Also how the narrator is calling it a whydunit instead of a whodunit makes me think we may get to know the murderer off the bat which is not something you get everyday. I also love the cover being an adaptation of an evil eye since the story is set in Greece.
