I like how the story started talking about the weather even though the author said never to talk about the weather. I also liked the idea of sitting at a bar, having a beer and getting ready to hear a friend tell you a story. There are so many things the narrator says that make you want to keep reading, talking about how he kept notebooks and would be able to tell the story and how everyone is unreliable narrator, so you know not to trust him from the beginning even though you feel like you can. This is definitely a book I would like to read.
