I liked the premise of the book—a woman finds herself being followed but doesn’t know why. The story revolves around her trying to figure out who is trying to get to her and what they want. The problem was I didn’t really care for the main character. She is so angry and negative from the very first chapter. It’s like the author introduces her awful grandmother that she grew up with to try to show why she is the way she is but all it does for me is add another annoying character. I don’t feel like it really added to the story and the grandmother is brought into the story several times. I would have rather seen more development of the Gavin character, as he is the reason she’s in the mess she’s in. That being said, it was an easy read and it did keep me reading to find out what was going on. I just didn’t really care much for the character development.
