Secondly, I was so excited and pumped to win this book on Bookishfirst! I mean, come on! Look at that cover - it draws you in and it's completely eye catching! Both the preview and the synopsis caught my eye right away - the first look even more so.
But then, dear friends, I picked up the book and started reading. I was so so disappointed. I don't say this often but this book is awful. The writing is poor and boring, it's all I could do not to fall asleep when reading. The characters are not exciting or compelling, and quite honestly it was impossible to connect with any of them let alone the main character.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but this book is not worth reading. I'm sorry.
