The first look so o was genuinely excited to have won a copy.
I love the stalker premise (yeah, I’m a sucker for a Joe Goldberg kinda character) - and I thought I would root for/like Claire. I did not. I’m fact I kinda hated her- ugh.
I did like the pharmaceutical aspect as it is different and relevant. So that kept me intrigued for sure.
I didn’t hate this book at all - but I didn’t love it either. I wish I did- but I couldn’t get behind Claire and her personality as a whole was off putting to say the least.
I do love this genre (thriller ) but felt it was bit off and misleading to call it that!
Three stars - not sorry I read it at all - just not my full cup of tea, maybe a
half cup of water.
Always so appreciative for new reads - and would recommend this as an easy quick read - if you dig characters that are annoying as the main character (which some people really love )!
