It's rare that I don't like a book, I mean it's happened a few times but it's rare. This, I didn't necessarily like. I couldn't relate to the main character, at all, to the point where I disliked her. She was very off-putting, for example when she insists that she be referred to as "mizz" and not "miss" (I guess I just don't know what this was meant to achieve). This attitude/personality is a constant, throughout the story, so you lose connection with it. I got lost/confused about what was happening with this story... Not in any particular section but just in the sense of... "Where is this going and for what reason?" I never really found that reason except that the author wanted to write a thriller. I see a lot of others enjoying this book, so I will probably be in the minority with my opinion but unfortunately it just wasn't for me
