A fast-paced and exciting story worthy of any Hitchcock movie around. When I saw this book had a similar content of North by Northwest I had to have it. A crime thriller with major suspense is my kind of story and this one fit the bill. Claire is the main character and she is not in a good place. She loses her sweet childhood friend under very suspicious circumstances. On top of that she broke up with her boyfriend, has a dead-end job and is taking care of her grandmother. Then to add to the whole picture someone is stalking her. While Claire sets out to figure out the mystery the reader is thoroughly engaged. I loved it and there were lots of twists I never saw coming. Claire was a character who showed determination and while she was a hard person to like one couldn't help but understand what she was going through. This was a very creepy book with a solid ending. Definitely recommend.
