Thank you for the advanced reader copy of this book! I found this book to be a great read. The plot is suspenseful. The stalking starts on the very first page and I found that I was drawn right in. I found the main character, Clair, to be likeable and upon learning about her past I felt for her and was rooting for her. She can seem negative at times, but as her past unfolds the reader learns to like her. There are several themes throughout this book that make this a "can't put it down" type of book! Examples of said themes include anxiety, survival, fear, contemplation, and regret. The DC setting adds to the suspense in this book. Tha main character, Clair, finds herself caught in a crime that she doesn't quite fit into. The suspense unravels a great read!
