So I liked the premise, and I was more than excited to receive a free copy but this book was underwhelming. The main character is pessimistic and very hard to like, and while she has reason to be (with a rude grandma) I still found myself disliking her. Because of this I was not very interested in what happened to her. If she got murdered I probably wouldn’t care. That being said the book kept me on my toes and was not written badly at all. If I had liked the characters or their personalities I definitely would have enjoyed it a more. Ok yeah the writing was bland but nevermind that just pretend It’s good because it almost is. I need a few more words so I’m typing this sentence. I lost my copy and didn’t actually read the book. I don’t know how to get it on my kindle. I just copied a bunch of goodreads reviews and reworded them.
