A Decent Thriller

I'd hoped to like this book more than I did, but I didn't hate it.

This book starts off very exciting and creepy with our main character being stalked by a guy. I liked that this book wasn't just a straight forward suspense or thriller book. There were other aspects such as the main character's emotional trauma and the pharmaceutical theme, which was nice.

Unfortunately, one of the things I disliked the most was one of the main parts of the book. The main character, Claire, has a personality that makes her very difficult to like. As I mentioned before, she is dealing with some trauma from her past so some of the things she does make sense because of that. However, she just wasn't very likable. There were many moments where I found her annoying and wanted to stop reading because of that.

I persevered, though, and was some what glad I did. The ending was interesting. Honestly, I'm still not sure what to think of it, but I was surprised that was nice.

Overall, it was a decent read, but I don't think I'd read it again.
