From the first line of this book, the author sets up the possibility of an unreliable narrator. "Am I paranoid to think someone is following me?" This creates an air of mystery and suspense for the reader, instantly drawing you in. I appreciated the sprinkling of inner thinking from the narrator as well, but not too much to bog down the reader unnecessarily. That being said, I'm left wondering how this thriller will stand out from all the other existing mysteries/thrillers. I look forward to reading The Friday Cage to find out!
