This First Look fell flat for me. I don't think this author should write female characters. Claire needs a lot of work. I'm guessing she's supposed to be some kind of hardass but she's just ... awful. The writing needs a lot of work,too. The description of Claire is so bad. And the story doesn't flow at all.
