I think this was a good length for a First Impression and it was a good intro to the book as well. It showcased the kind of characters that will be in the story and left you with just the right feeling of unease at the end. I am not a big fan of the main character with her self-righteous rambling but I do wonder if that is intentional. The cover is simple but eye-catching with its bright red.
