Intriguing and enticing, I'd like to know more.

At first, I didn't feel I would click with the character of Claire but as I read the first few chapters I felt like I was slowly starting to see her vulnerabilities and humanity. I found the book very easy to read, frequently wanting to keep going to find out what would happen next or what I would learn about the characters. The cover is bold and sharp, much like the main character, and the pattern of the fingerprint invokes feelings of a mystery to be unraveled. I am also particularly interested in reading as the protagonist is female and the author male, which I find often gives a unique perspective on the character's inner life.
