It was a good start. Slightly drawn out. Maybe upon reading the whole book these things will be relevant.
A lot of emphasis on men treating the main character in a discriminatory way. A bit too much. My guess is mostly women will read this and we already know these things stop cramming it down our throats.
Having said all that I'm still interested in seeing where the story goes. Depending on the next few chapters are handled would depend on whether I'd actually finish the book or end up DNRing it.
