Claire has a lot of problems. Her mother is dead. She doesn’t know her father’s identity. Her grandmother has just been moved to assisted living. Granny raised Claire and she was cruel under the guise of toughening her up. Claire is divorcing her husband and has left a good job in NYC to move to DC for a more junior role. A good friend just died and she was his last call. Oh and someone has been following her and breaking into her house.
