This book is an excellent next series for adventure fantasy fans - especially those who have previously read Eion Colfers hit series Artemis Doel. This new series is based on the Fowl twins, Beckett and Myles, who are relatives of Artemis.
This book was fast paced, packed with adventure, and a thoughtfully created world of characters and places. It’s helpful to have read Artemis Fowl to have some background and a sense of how the story is written but is not necessary to understand the two new main characters. This is great for young readers with a more advanced skill level as there are lots of characters, manipulated words, and very quick transitions. This is a jam packed book and if your not paying attention you could miss details.
