Artemis Fowl was one of my favorite books series when I was younger. When I saw that a new book was coming out, I was stoked! I’m not surprised that a new book is coming out the same year as the movie, though. Interesting coincidence, right? Overall, I loved the feel of this book. The writing took me back and gave me nostalgic feelings of the originals. I loved how the brothers were complete opposites of each other, but used their talents to compliment the others. One brother is super smart like Artemis, while the other twin is not necessarily a genius, but definitely has his own talents. The twins go off on their own adventure and even have their own nemesis’ to battle. The humor in this book was on point and I can’t wait to read what comes next!
