I definitely enjoyed reading this book more than I thought I would. I've never read anything by the author before and I'm not familiar with the Artemis Fowl books. But, the awesome cover made me want to check out this book and while the story is for the younger generation, I actually really liked the story. The writing is great, engaging and easy to read which is really good for the middle-grade age group. I liked the creativity of this book and found myself quite entertained for the most part. I think the characters are just delightful and charming. The twins have their own personality and I enjoyed getting to know them. The plot is fast-paced and felt like going on a really fun adventure. Definitely recommend this book for children and even if you're an adult, I think there is something magical about this book that you'll enjoy.
