This seems like a really fun, adventurous middle grade read. It's both silly and dark with lots of supernatural fantastical elements. I think it would be interesting to keep reading to compare it to the first Artemis Fowl books and to see how Myles and Beckett are different than their brother. I found the cover to be kind of loud and tacky but it captures what the story is about so far.
