Hijinks are quickly underway in this story about a abnormal human family, the fairies they have interactions with and a man pursuing said fairies in attempt to extend his life - which from the description doesn't seem much worth living. This book has a fun quirky style to it that probably makes more sense if you've read the Artemis Fowl series, which I haven't. It's not really my thing, but I could see kids and young adults in particular enjoying it.
