The cover pops out to me straight away. It would catch my eye in a book store or online to pull me in. It's definitely a different style than the "Artemis Fowl" series. This book pulls you in to the drama right from the beginning. Wanting to know why and how they murder the head of the family and the seemingly inevitable demise of the rest of the rest of that family hooked me immediately.
