I have grown to love historical fiction, but sometimes the overwhelming prevalence of WWII books gets old. I'm so excited to read this book, set in Madrid in the 50's. I love that the element of photography is present in this book, as it will provide a unique story line to explore the Spanish Civil War. I know very little about this point in history and those types of books are my favorites - I get to learn about a part of history that I am unfamiliar with, in an entertaining way. Then I can Google things as I go, to learn more about it. I think I need to bump Septys up on my TBR, as I have a number of her books that I want to read, but haven't yet gotten to any of them. Maybe this one should be my first!
