First, let me start by saying that I absolutely love the writing style and content of all of Ruta Sepetys books. This excerpt was just enough to really peek my interest and add this to my list of "want to read". It was also just enough to make me really want more. How do you expect me to wait to read the rest of this book?
I know very little about Spain's history and think that this book is just the ticket to round out my knowledge. I think that The Fountains of Silence will be much anticipated for me and a lot of others who enjoy historical fiction novels.
I am hoping that the characters are all able to hold their own through the entire book. I also hope that I will be chosen to receive an ARC. Thank you for the opportunity!
