I really enjoyed this book. As a fan of historical fiction I appreciated the style of writing. I especially enjoyed the article excerpts throughout the book that helped further explain the historical significance. I found the book to be a relatively easy read without being overly “heavy”. I found the characters to be relatable and especially enjoyed the relationship between Ana and Daniel. I also found Fuga to be a very like able character. I would have liked to hear more about how his story ended. I enjoyed the story being told from differing perspectives and felt it was well done. I did find the ending to be slightly abrupt and would have enjoyed a little more about how everyone ended up in the end, especially Christina.
