As a lover of history, I have to admit that I know very little about the history of Spain. This book captured my attention immediately with its photography, passages, and quotes. It is the perfect blend of nonfiction and realistic historical fiction. The characters are compelling and I really want to learn more about them, their struggles, and their journey. The cover is enchanting and I especially like that pop of red with the Spanish architecture in the background. It comes across as both romantic and mysterious. I'm really looking forward to this one.
