The cover of THE FOUNTAINS OF SILENCE is gorgeous! It immediately drew me in! The story seems compelling as well, and I’m always interested to learn more about historical events through fictionalized accounts. The writing seems a bit quick and “snappy” as evidenced in the continuous sequence of very brief paragraphs, so hopefully that doesn’t deter from adequate character development.
